God’s Authority Structure

God set up the authority structures for the benefit of the young, the weak, and the rebellious: young people start with no understanding (as babies) of authority; but if the parents do as God planned: they start with total authority over the child. Children as they grow need to be given more and more responsibility, with the parents introducing the child to the realization that they need to hear from God; as the child grows, the child needs to be born again, and to practice hearing directly from God, with parental oversight, to make sure it was from God. When a child comes of age, they should be able to receive all their instruction from God, with only minimal oversight.
God’s authority structure: began with the father’s authority over his children. The father job was to so teach his children, that they would be completely connected to God, when they are of age. God is to be the only authority of all that are of age; but that can only work well, if they choose to follow the Lamb wherever He goes. God’s purpose for parental authority is, to get the child completely connected to Jesus, and to be doing what He is doing.
We will be getting back to the weak and the rebellious later.
We see an example of God’s purpose for authority when God brought the children of Israel out of Egypt: God begin to teach the children of Israel Himself; but the Children of Israel refused God’s teaching, and said to Moses, “You get the Word from God, tell us, and we will do it”: so God gave Moses the Mosaic Law because of the refusal of the children of Israel to hear from Him directly, Exodus 19.
God had a system of judges, through which He ruled Israel; but they wanted a king just like the nations around them. God’s purpose for judges was: for them to teach the people to hear directly from God; but because they failed; God allowed them to have a king to rule over them when He was their king, 1 Samuel 8.
God setup a fivefold ministry to teach the people to hear directly from God; but they kept the authority unto themselves, and so the church has been out of order for two thousand years. The fivefold ministry was given by Jesus, when He ascended to heaven; unlike Elders, Bishops, and Deacons which are ordained by men. The purpose for the fivefold ministry: Ephesians 4: 12- 13, “For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ: that we hence forth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive”; there we see what only Jesus can do: the perfecting of the saints, unity of the faith, knowledge of Jesus, unto a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ, and stability: and this will only be accomplished if we become very intimate with Jesus.
The unity of the faith means we must be taught of God, and have a knowledge of Jesus Christ; the perfecting of the saints means we must behold as in a glass the glory of the Lord 11 Corinthians 3: 18; become a perfect man, by beholding Him: you can’t get away from it, the ministry must bring everyone to Jesus, and not to themselves.
When Paul and the Apostles had rebellious churches and individuals they put them under laws and rules till they could rise to the fruit of the Spirit where there is no law.
What did Paul do? Galatians 1: 12 says, that he didn’t receive the gospel from man; but by revelation of Jesus Christ: this is also how God wants us to receive it. Paul says He went not to the apostles but into the desert to be taught of God, verse 17. If you read Galatians chapters one and two you find Paul did not try to please men, he pleased God, was ordained, and taught by God, and what Paul did here God wants every single Christian to do. John said in 1 John 2 that the anointing God gave us will teach us instead of men; but we may need a little guidance at first: to make sure it is God and not demons.
God will start with a hundred and forty four thousand (Revelation 14) in this last day, as a first fruit, connected directly to the Lamb: going wherever He goes; till He can get the rest of His people to follow Christ. If a prize fighter did not have every part of his body connected to the head, and fine tuned to perfection; he would lose the fight, before he could even get his fist balled up.
We cannot have any man between us and God, if we are going to be any threat to Satan’s kingdom in these last days: as long as any man is between us and God, the reaction time is so slow that, we will be no threat to Satan’s kingdom; but directly connected to Jesus: we can react instantly, and then we will devastate Satan’s kingdom.
